CHRISTMAS IS COMING…IN LONDON

 What do you know about Great Britain Christmas celebrations?

 A CRACKER IS…
 -A kind of firework that bursts out very easily.
-It is a small cardboard tube covered in a brightly coloured twist of paper.
 -An special Christmas carol that is sung in Wales at the turn of the year.
 -A sponge which is stuffed with raisins and almonds

BOXING DAY IS…

- It´s the Fool´s day so everybosy is playing jokes to each other.
 -It is the Christmas day in which a lot of Boxing programs are shot on the TV, normally the 30th December. -It´s The day after Christmas Day and falls on December 26. It is an important day for sporting events and the start of the post-Christmas sales.
 -It´s the lotto day, only some lucky winners will enjoy Christmas to the top, normally on 23rd December.

MISTLETOE
-It´s an special kind of cake that the family eats at Christmas Eve.
 -It´s a green plant that is used for decorative purposes.
 -It´s a Christmas carol type specially sung at new year´s Eve to say goodbye to the old year and welcoming the next one .
-It´s a kind of decorative device usually round that is hung in the British Christmas tree.

 CHRISTMAS PUDDING IS…
-It´s a plum pudding made with all sorts of dried fruits, nuts, spices, black treacle and lots sherry or brandy eaten at Christmas day.
 -It´s layered pudding made with different layers intermingling fruit , sponge, cream and brandy eaten at new year´s Eve.
-It´s a sponge made with dried fruit that children prepared and cooked with their parent´s at Christmas Eve. -It is a custard kind of soufflé that have as many recipes as grannies are in England so popular it is usually eaten on New year´s day as a dessert.
