Isabel Cabrera has finished up her degree on ENGLISH TEACHING, she is doing a MASTER on Englsih teaching...and most important she is with us. Make the most of her by asking her three questions about:
-Reasons to choose teaching/teenagers/subject.
-How was the way till getting her degree.
-Lights and shadows of the University curriculum/teachers/ way of teaching.
-What wild she change in her degree?
-The subjects she had to study.
-Plans for the future/ goals.
-Work market: her future work and possibilities.
- What is the MASTER about? Is it very expensive?
-Does she regret her choice? Would she choose the same?
-Translation-Interpretation/ Englsih Philology...what is the the difference? what is the better option to find a job....
You must bring the three questions ready or else get them ready in the class as quick as possible. Then make a short summary with the answers and publish it in a post.
Include the answer to the question...."Would you be a teacher?"

Again it´s your turn...at the end of the class you must give a summary of your post. It must deal witha completely different TOPIC from the one you chose for your former FREE POST.

The next session you can be asked to present ORALLY your post ON A CITY in English
(A SKETCH WHILE THE PRESENTATION IS ON IIS ALLOWED)

RECIPE
1.-Choose any city in the world. You must explain why.
2.-MAKE A POWER POINT PRESENTATION 0F 10 SLIDES
3.-Inlcude slides of:
-LOCATION
-INHABITANTS
-CLIMATE
-A BIT OF HISTORY
-MAIN MONUMENTS/MUSEUMS
-MAIN STREETS/QUARTERS/ DOWNTOWN.
-OPEN AIR MARKETS ( IF ANY)
-FREETIME: RESTAURANTS, NIGHTLIGHT, CINEMAS, MOVIES, THEATRES
-MAIN CELEBRATIONS:EVENTS, FEASTS, COMMEMORATIONS.
-MAIN ECONOMIC SECTORS.
-SOMETHING EXOTIC/ODD.
P.S.- In the next session (30th April) you must be ready to be called to present orally your power point presentation to your classmates. Avoid to include long texts in the slides , only words. DEADLINE TO PUBLISH THE POWER POINT IN THE BLOG: 22nd APRIL
